Let me start off by saying that money is everything. Money gives you the ability to have a good life, a care free life, no worries, buy what you want, when you want it and never look back. Now, let me tell you why people would disagree with what I just said. Some people think that money doesn’t mean happiness because a lot of people with money aren’t happy. Either they are lonely (bad love life) or abuse their money. First of all, think about all the “normal “people who need to think about their significant other plus the stress of paying next months bills. How do they do it? and do it right? How do they stay happy? Imagine they didn’t have to worry about paying next months bills and could focus more on their significant other. Again, you might say, then why do you have rich people unhappy because of their love lives? This brings me to my second point. You must be able to appreciate money, and handle it with care in order to be happy, and so do the people around you. It’s the people who abuse their money who end up unhappy. That’s when things start falling apart, when the freedom takes control. But if you can control it, money means happiness!
If money means happiness, how do you stay motivated to make money? This is how I do it. Find something that pisses you off, or someone. It could be an ex-girlfriend or ex-wife, your parents not approving of what you are doing, siblings thinking they are better than you, etc. Use that and prove everybody wrong! Everybody has a life and everybody can find something to use to stay motivated. It has to be personal, something you care about. I decided not to go to university and rejected my acceptance offers. (check out my “University is Overrated” thread) When my parents find out they will flip, but thats OK. (unless they kick me out of the house…hopefully not..to late to turn back though) So! I use that to motivate myself. I need to make money, I need to be successful in the web industry, I need to prove to everybody that I am making more money than I could ever dream of at such a young age. I also use my future to motivate me. I want to provide for my family, I want my wife to have what she wants and also my kids, besides every girl wants money..whether they admit it or not
Stay motivated and you will never quit, in fact…you will only succeed. Be smart, find something personal to motivate you and go after it!

Before I start blogging about how overrated university is, I just wanted to tell you about a few changes on the site. First, As many of you already noticed, I got a new logo designed. It took a while to get it right but I hope you all like it, I think it looks great. Second, I setup an Advertise, Portfolio and Contact page where you can click at the very top of the site. My new contact emails are thenetbastard@gmail.com and bastard@netbastard.com
Now lets get started.
Ever since I was in school teachers and my parents would drill the idea that the only way to be successful in life would be attend university. WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP! When I think about it, most rich people I know never attended university. Heck, Most of them didn’t know english when they came to North America, and some of them still don’t! After hours and hours of conversation with friends I figured out why these people could do this, the reason being is because the only real way to become really rich, and actually have a decent social life, is to work for yourself and thats exactly what the majority of these rich people do. They own their own businesses. Now, I was going to go into a Business Management course, its not for the smartest kids but it would give you a decent degree. Then I thought about it, I want to start my own business when I’m done, why the fricken hell would I pay 8+ grand a year for 4 years to learn something I could learn first hand! Is my program actually going to teach me how to start a successful and profitable business? HELL NO. Universities main goal is to make money. And don’t get me wrong, School is good, it’s good for those 90% and above average kids who want to become doctors, accountants etc. where as soon as they get out of their crazy ass program they are guaranteed a job of at least $100K/year. Yea…have fun signing your life away…but then again if thats what you love doing, I have nothing against it. Back to the point. So, in my last month of high school I payed attention to which kids were going where after school. I found out that complete dumbasses, with no motivation in life or work ethic got accepted into social science programs and other business programs. Are you kidding me? Give me a break. Universities accept these kids so they can pick up a couple grand before they drop out because they just aren’t smart enough. Another great thing is when you have university “educated” people so proud of their degrees and you ask them, “So…where are you working now?” and they reply with a job that is nothing close to what they studied in school. News flash everybody! University doesn’t guarantee you a paying job. It’s just unbelievable of how OVERRATEED university really is. Take a look at the web industry. You think my “BCOMM Degree” is going to help me reach my goal? No way. Your life is what you make it, and so is your job and your degree. Don’t let the “standards” of society stop you from doing what you really want.
That was my rant…I don’t care if you didn’t like it.
